Depending on where you live regardless of confidentiality laws you probably aren't legally allowed to see a doctor alone (under age 18) but you can obtain condoms and birth control from a health department, planned parenthood or similar organization, perhaps even your youth resources center of your school.

Condoms (spermicidal and otherwise) are highly affective if used properly but can be coupled with vaginal spermicide, withdrawal, and birth control.

If you aren't ready to take responsibility for possible pregnancy then you aren't ready to have sex. The only way to be 100% sure is by abstaining from sex entirely.

If you are over 13 years of age the HIPPA Laws, Health Information Privacy & Portability Act, affords you total medical confidentiality. This means anything you say to your doctor is confidential and cannot be told to your parents or anyone else without written permission from you. You can ask your doctor for a prescription for birth control without parental permission; your doctor can if he/she wishes refuse to do so if they have medical reasons for doing so but not because you do not have parental permission.

Properly applied a condom is between 80% to 90% effective as a contraceptive.

condoms are 85% accurate at preventing pregnancy. to lessen the possibilites of becoming pregnant, you could get on birth control and use a condom. that way, it should be damn near impossible.

you can go to planned parenthood and get birth control and condoms without a prescription, i'm pretty sure. depends on your age. i think if you're over 17 you can without a prescription. if you're younger, then just use a condom and pull out before the guy ejaculated. remember, even with a condom, you can still get pregnant. especially if you let him ejaculate while still inside you and the condom broke during sex or something.

my boyfriend and i use the pull out method. have been for about 3 years and it works well for us, but not for everyone. like i said, a condom and pulling out should be good enough :) hope i helped.
