what are the chances of getting pregnant just using a condom? how would i be able to lessen the possibilities? ive never had sex, i have taken sex ed though, twice. also, is there a way of obtaining birth control without a parental guardian? are there different types for different people? do i need a prescription? thanks

This means anything you say to your doctor is confidential and cannot be told to your parents or anyone else without written permission from you. You can ask your doctor for a prescription for birth control without parental permission; your doctor can if he/she wishes refuse to do so if they have medical reasons for doing so but not because you do not have parental permission.

you can go to planned parenthood and get birth control and condoms without a prescription, i'm pretty sure. depends on your age. i think if you're over 17 you can without a prescription. if you're younger, then just use a condom and pull out before the guy ejaculated. remember, even with a condom, you can still get pregnant. especially if you let him ejaculate while still inside you and the condom broke during sex or something.
my boyfriend and i use the pull out method. have been for about 3 years and it works well for us, but not for everyone. like i said, a condom and pulling out should be good enough :) hope i helped. [ laynemayhem's advice column | Ask laynemayhem A Question ]
