As for as exercising there are a lot of great programs out there but first and foremost cut back on the empty calories from drinking and try doing High Intensity Interval Training which is cardio but it helps burn calories throughout the whole day not just while you are in the gym.
As far as eating you can eat what you want its just a matter of how much are you eating. you can eat pizza but have 1-2 slices instead of 4-5 and so on.

-------------------------
-Most of It is to simply cut down on unnatural sugar. Like candy or ice cream. I know it cam be a big sacrifice but I'm not saying completly no more. Just cut down to, one piece of candy a day if not any.
-Cut down on trans fat. Look at the label on everything you buy pakaged. If it says 0g trans fat, then go ahead and eat it! If it says 1g look at the serving size. If it's 'in one serving' it's fine. The reason is because trans fat is the fat that makes you gain weight. Wrestlers and macho men eat the protien bars that are FILLED with trans fat to gain weight to be in a higher weight class or what not. So stay as far away from trans fat as possible!! :)
-Base your diet off of fruits and vegies. I know that's not what you want to hear but do it. It keeps you from gaining weight and will help you with keeping your weight down. There are some fruits I hear that burn calories while eating them. I'm not sure if it's a myth or not so google that. Sorry I couldn't help with that part though. But yeah eat green. Green vegies and fruits are filled with chloraphyl which makes it green. The chloraphyl has a protien that keeps bad stuff (like fats) and things that are not needed in your body out.

also a way to LOOSE weight is to exersise. Lots of exercise. Even if it's just jogging in place it helps. I understand you don't have alot of time so I won't suggest joining a sport. But what you can do is go to your local gym about everyother day or at least 2 or 3 times a week. This will help you loose weight. It May not seem like it's working but give it a week or two. The more you do it the quicker and more weight you loose. I did this and went every day for two weeks an lost 10 pounds quick. Swimming is also a good way because it burns alot of calories doing laps and what not. Also if you do laps for about 45 minutes then just play water basketball or something for 15 min. (so you will have been swimming and keeping your Jody active for about an hr. You will he quite tired. Get dressed and go home and sleep. You will sleep really good and for a while. Sleeping burns calories too. It's the reason you weigh less in the morning then a t night. If you spend two hours at the gym everytime you go you will see improvements. Playing basketball and jumping rope is a great way too!
WingYan answered Wednesday January 26 2011, 9:11 pm: Alcohol is packed full of calories. I doubt you'd lose much weight if you continue drinking a lot.
Cardio is best to burn fat. Running, swimming, aerobics etc. anything that raises the heart rate. Doing 1-2 hours of cardio 5-6 times a week should shift the weight if you modify your calorie intake.
Perhaps reduce your calorie intake to 1800 per day. Eat your fruit, veg, lean means, seafood and wholegrain veg. Include plenty of fibre too to keep you feeling fuller for longer and do portion control.
How many calories you burn per activity depends on how hard you work. If you want to keep track you can join a gym.
But we all know whats healthy and whats not. just eat better and smaller meals more often, up the cardio intake and lower the alcohol consumption. It really is that simple. [ WingYan's advice column | Ask WingYan A Question ]
