Is it possible to get an STD from Masturbation? Highly unlikely, a lot of factors would have to come together with almost perfect timing for this to happen.

The best advise I can offer your friend is if she is having a problem she need to see a doctor, preferably a Gyn. Even though it is highly unlikely she has an STD, something as common as a yeast infection can turn very serious if left untreated.

Never ever be afraid to seek a doctors help. If you are over the age of 13 everything you tell your doctor is confidential and cannot be told to anyone, even your parents, without your permission. You have the right to see your doctor alone without your mother being in the exam room with you. If you want to see your doctor in private say so and if you mother has walked in with you the doctor or nurse will ask her to leave, this is your right under HIPA

This is all part of Federal Legislation known as HIPA: Health Information Privacy Act. There are severe penalties for the release of information to anyone, including the insurance company, without your expressed written permission. This act covers anyone who provides any type of medical aid, which includes Fire Fighters and EMTs in their role as first responders.

No, as the previous advicenator states, STD stands for Sexually Transmitted Disease and you'd have to be having sex in order to contract one. You're not specific about what kind of problems she's having, but several things can cause vaginal issues. It could be something as simple as a yeast infection. If she doesn't want to go to a doctor or clinic there are several over the counter creams for this and she could try one of them. But if there is alot of pain, discharge or burning she should probably see a doctor to have it checked out. Planned Parenthood is very low cost or sometimes free and is confidential. Hope this helps!

You cannot get an STD from masturbation. They are called sexually transmitted diseases because generally you must have sexual contact (with another infected person) to get them.

I believe few STDs can be transmitted in other ways, like from a toilet seat or blood transmission (like with AIDS) but I doubt that's what your friend is going through.

She could however have problems like a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection. Those can happen when bacteria gets into the vagina. The only definite way to see if she has a problem is to see a doctor, so if the problem persists make sure your friend gets the help she needs.

Good luck,

-Abby

It's not possible to give an std to yourself. If she happened to be touching another guy down there who DID happen to have an std, and then she touched herself, then its highly probable. But unless she touched another person in there happy spot than i highly doubt she has an std :P
