I am what you call a cat lady. lol I have 3 cats inside and 2 outside. When i wash my inside cats this is what i do...
I fill the bathtub with warm water.
I close the bathroom door with the cat that is going to give a bath to.
then i stick the cat in the bathtub slowly.
then will get scared but i have washed my cats every month since they were born for 3 years.
Keep one hand on your cat can wash them carefully. not to get water on their face.
I have never been scratched bitten or anything else.
Hope this helps you. ;) [ BlueiPod's advice column | Ask BlueiPod A Question ]

However, if your cat has gone outdoors and gotten into something that normal cat hygiene isn't taking care of, many cats will allow you to "groom" them with a rough washcloth dampened with warm water. It takes a little longer, but it's easier on the cat, and easier on you. [ liricospinto's advice column | Ask liricospinto A Question ]
