A family practice doctor is not the best physician to treat depression. Depression is best treated by a team of doctors; they being a psychiatrist who will properly diagnose and prescribe medication and a psychologist for talk therapy to get at the root cause of the depression.
I would also suggest you use a search engine to find a doctor in your area who specializes in weight control. Family practice doctors are great and I love my family practice doctor as she has saved my wife's live twice. But she know her limitations and is quick to send us to specialists. However we have preferred provider insurance instead of HMO insurance which allows her to do this. HMO insurance prefers the family practice doctor too treat their patients. This does not mean you cannot be referred to specialists.
At 92.5# and 5' 4" you are way under weight; you need to see someone who specializes in this area. You could have an over active thyroid, easily fixable. It takes special test and x-rays to make this kind of diagnoses one that a doctor more familiar with this type of problem will know what tests to order.
If you have HMO type insurance then you need to stand up for yourself and demand to be referred to a specialist who can help you. Do the research, find the doctor you want to be referred to then ask your family doctor , who is referred to as the gate keeper, for the referral.
Remember one thing when dealing with insurance companies. You are your own best advocate. If ever you are refused for something by the insurance company tell them your calling the State Insurance Commissioner to appeal. Most of the time they will give in without you having to call. But if they do not, call and file an appeal with the insurance commissioner's office. About 90% of the time the insurance company looses these appeals. It sounds like you are to get a more accurate view, which is a good thing, but you want to continue to get better, and to stay healthy.

anerexic people refuse to eat and they think that they are obese when they are VERY skinny. its a psychological problem.
so what you should do is gain weight in a healthy manner. The foods you eat must supply you with much needed calories and give you all of the nutrients and phytochemicals that your body may have been missing for a while.
In order to gain weight, you need to consume more calories than you are currently taking in every day. You really shouldn't guess how many calories you need. (food log helps)
Remember that you need to choose healthy foods to really be healthy. This is especially important if you are recovering from an illness or have been undernourished for a long time. You want to gain weight and you want to improve your health as well.
