smoking weed

i got my wisdom teeth out on monday the 23 and i got my stiches out yesterday the 30th. is it okay if i can smoke weed now? does anyone know because i heard you cant after you get your wisdom teeth out because of blood clots?

i honestly do not think that you should smoke weed at all bt thats just in my opion i mean there is so much more in life then jus getting high i mean sure its what people do now and days bt i dnt think thats a health thing to do.. i mean i bet you have high expectations for yourself and smoking isnt going to get yu no where in life. it can make you lose out on job oppertunties many things. and why would you want to smoke weed right after you got your widom teeth out thats dumb and no your not suppose to smoke right after because of the blood clots in your teeth you have to wait four days after. hope i helped =]]

You can also get this condition called "dry socket." Trust me, you don't want it because it hurts really bad.

In addition to what Peeps said (all of which is true) you should also be aware that smoke itself is somewhat rough on tissue just from inhaling it, before it's absorbed by the lungs. Fresh wounds means smoking anything, including cigarettes, can irritate or otherwise hurt the healing tissue.

Stay away from all smokeables, probably for the four weeks Peeps said (I don't know exactly what that timetable would be myself, so I'll go with his answer)

You should refrain from smoking anything for at least 4 more weeks to allow your body to heal fully. Oxygen depletion in the bloodstream occurs when inhaling smoke. This causes you body to slow the healing process, build up heavier amounts of scar tissue, and makes you more susceptible to infections. Blood clots are probably not as a severe risk now since you've already had stitches removed and should be healed enough to not have settling blood in the area as much now.
