In most churches, there is a babysitter list for the use of its members, however, there may be an age requirement. Generally, it is high school age. Ask your parents if they have friends or coworkers who have small children, in order to spread your name around. Consider making flyers or a form of business card, so that they will remember your business when needed. If there is an American Red Cross near where you live, I strongly recommend a babysitting course. If you get yourself certified in babysitting, you have a better chance of being hired. Go to someplace that generally has children, such as a public library or even a daycare center, and post a flyer or two there.
I wish you the best! [ twistedheartx's advice column | Ask twistedheartx A Question ]
