Yes it's possible! After college I needed to lose the ten pounds that I had gained over its course (I certainly deserved it after partying 5 nights a week and eating whatever I wanted all the time!) so I went on Weight Watchers!
Being in the "real world" and working I didn't have time to go to the gym so I started substituting certain foods and eating tiny "snacks" throughout the day instead of three big meals.

Buy smaller plates and bowls...trust me on this! In the morning I mix FiberOne cereal (the original, not the sugary versions that are out now) with a dash of oatmeal and some chopped strawberries with some organic skim milk. It's delicious and the bowl is so small but afterwards, I always feel surprisingly full!

Lunch...try HALF a small turkey sandwich, or make a wrap substituting a large lettuce leaf for the bread. I personally am a carb fan so I love getting a fresh loaf of bread from the grocery (Walmart has great fresh bread!) The loafs are smaller so when you slice them for a sandwich it's automatically smaller but tastes so good you forget you only have half!

Invest in 100 calorie packs for dessert! I always crave chocolate, and 100 calorie packs are awesome (Keebler makes great mini fudge stripe cookies) and paired with a large glass of skim milk it's a great dessert

Eat slowly to trick your stomach into feeling full...I'm a talker so when my husband and I eat dinner it's pretty easy to find dinner taking an hour or longer to finish!

Exercise always helps, but sometimes after a hard workout I feel more hungry and since I "was good and worked out" I sometimes would feel that I deserved a big dessert!

Good luck!

***To answer your question, I lost an average of 1 -2 lbs. a week...without working out, and just eating right! Of course, the more weight you have to lose, the more pounds you can take off per week. When I got back to 120 lbs, I followed the maintenance program through weight watchers to keep it off! It ended up taking about 8 weeks.
Hope that helps!

if you dont exercise while dieting your body will looking weird . becuase when you lose weight your skin is still streched out to its olod size and looks all flabby ; so if you exercise while dieting your body will look form and fit -- its called toning up.

You can lose weight without exercise but exercising helps build muscle. Muscle breaks down fatty tissue and burns calories. In the long-run, exercising pays off better and longer.

There is a quote that every pound of muscle you gain, your body burns an extra 50-ish calories.

That might not sound like a lot but that's calories being burned while you're just sitting around at home. Then you have to consider:

10lbs gained = 500-ish calories burned.

Now, I've read that this would equal out to losing about a ~1lb a week if you had gained 10lbs of muscle.

Your metabolism is also boosted by about 15%. We all know that your metabolism is how fast you body can burn off calories.

If you're plump then losing weight without any form of exercising can leave you saggy. You won't have the muscle tissue to firm and tone the fatty areas you have at the moment. That's why lots of women have those jiggly arms areas--because they didn't exercise and build enough muscle to help tighten the skin in those areas.

It's like Arnold Schwarzenegger. He lost a lot of muscle by not maintaining his level of exercise. Because the stuff under the skin diminished, he got flabby. This is where people began purchasing tummy-tucks and surgical procedures to tighten the skin back up.

if you’re on a diet then that’s good and exercising a little will help you more
try looking what’s inside the food you eat as well as sometimes you will see how may calories are in things just don’t become obsessed with it
Some foods you may think are healthy but are not,

Try looking at what the your daily amount should be you can do this by just looking it up on Google or on some of the foods there are a grid saying the daily amount

See how much you would normally have and then once you find what you normally have cut down to the daily amount. This will help to start
but the thing is say if you normally eat 3000 calories and cut down to the right amount which is 2000 you still have to burn it off, by doing normal things each day and doing some exercise will increase how much weight you lose
and also if you are always moving this will help i don’t mean always jumping up and down ect lol, i mean you will always find that you will be able to move when you’re doing things like when sitting tap your foot fidget every now and again move positions pace when on the phone ect you will find that you can always move so do it, this will increase your metabolism and will burn fat and will digest the food you do eat faster :D
and make sure to drink loads of water watch out for some drinks though as that Ribena in a carton have 80 calories in one carton which is more than some biscuits so watch out,
stay safe though as its important and healthily to have some bad foods in your diet :) and to still eat :)
hope this helps
Good luck
