How can I lose weight befor school starts?

Well im 13 years old and im pretty overweight. Im starting 8th grade the end of august and i wanna show everyone that i can lose weight. How can i lose weight before school starts? Thanks (:

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated during the day. Skipping meals can make you gain weight. Eat six smaller meals throughout the day instead of three large meals.
Use a measuring tape rather than a scale to chart your progress; muscle weighs more than fat.
Walk for fifteen minutes every day. Switch from walking to sprinting every other minute for maximum fat burning.
Doing lots of abdominal exercises such as situps will help you develop fat burning muscles and prevent weight gain in the future.

watch your calorie intake and sugar.
drink ONLY WATER and some milk. if you want to loose it fast jog. even if u cant do a mile try. the most you work out the less hungry you will feel. plus eat tons of veggies and fruit!

I know everyone has told you that they have or had weight problems, but honestly i can show you pictures i used to weight 200 i know thats not extremely over weight but i still got picked on my whole life untill i graduated. One summer i decided not to long ago actually i wanted t lose weight what i did is i still ate anything i wanted but i only ate the serving sizes that is very hard but you can do it. Eat the serving sizes and do 40 crunches a day sooner or later youll be able to do more than 40. If you want go walking every other day. Trust me it works now i run every other day and i weight 162.

Well i think the best thing to do, is maybe join a health and fitness center there are pleanty locally in your area. Or even a gym..? Personally i stuggled with weight gain as a child i think the best thing that worked for me was to cut out all carbs and fatty foods and excercise more. Maybe its as simple as a dance class or even a kickboking cardio. Try to find something active that you like to do and stick to that plan.. Because if you are working out and aren't enjoying what your doing then theres no need to be doing that particaular thing. Like i said have fun with your workout plan :P) Get healthy and feel better

Honestly.... you shouldn't worry about what other people think about you... I am 18 and ever since I was about 12 I have been gaining weight. It is a hard thing to deal with but if you just show people that you are happy with how you look and you don't care what they think. But if you do want to lose weight. Don't do it because of other people do it for YOURSELF. I hope my advice helps a little bit... let me know how everything goes.

Me too! lol except im 15. Maybe go running/walking everyday for 30 or so minutes. Cut down on the sodas and drink lots of water. Eat lots of veggies and fruits. Try not to eat as much pizza, greasy foods, and stuff like that. Just a little advice. Let me know how it goes! :) Goodluck!
