when you dream off someone is it cause they went to bed dreaming of you? or when you think of someone is it cause they are thinking of you?

Impossible. How on Earth is your brain going to know someone else is thinking of you? Dreams are controlled by your subconcious thinking while you are asleep, not by any exterior force. The same goes for your thoughts, they are controlled by you and you alone.

Im afraid not. The meanings of dreams sometimes take over people lives. I reccomend you ignore it, you have atleast 20dreams a night, only 1-3 of which you usually remember. Thats 116800 dreams in your lifetime, assuming you live till 80, so it really doesnt mean anything, just (like the answer below me said) you subconscious 'coming out to play'.
