The prom dress of my dreams only had a size 2 left in stock, which I bought.
..I'm a size 4.
I can fit into the dress, but it's slightly uncomfortable.
Prom is in early June and I need to slim down to a 2 by then.
What can I do?
I have no access to a gym / exercise machines.
Also, my schedule's pretty crazy at the moment; I get a LOT of hw/studying and don't get home from school until about 6pm.
I've considered walking home from the train after school (~3miles) every day. Would this be enough or should I do more?

You will probably lose a pound a day. & walking home from the train would be very beneficial. also, drink lots of water. if you think that is too hard, then you could also just cut down all the junk food, and still try to follow that diet, but it just won't come off as fast.

You can start by staying hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is so important! Buy a water bottle, (plastic bottles harm the enviroment!!) and fill it up with nice cold water.. Carry it around with you when you go to school, the mall, etc. When you have it with you, you're more likely to drink more often.
You should also record everything you eat. Start by weighing yourself, then reccord it. From then on, reccord every single thing that goes in you're mouth from when you get up, until when you go to sleep. This is the key to most diets.
Eat healthy! Eat a good breakfast every morning. I know it may be hard, but by getting up 10 minutes earlier, could really help you. Plus, it is proven that by eating a good breakfast, you stay awake longer during school, and do better on tests. An example of a good breakfast would be, toasted, whole wheat bread with peanut butter (stay away from white bread!!), a glass of milk, and a piece of fruit. This way, you're getting all 4 food groups. Pack you're own lunch for school. Don't trust cafeteria food, and while out to resturants with friends, make shore you make the right choices with food!
Try excersizing whenever you get the chance.. When you first wake up, do a couple of pushups and crunches. Not only are you building muscle, it's an easy way to wake yourself up also! You could go online, and check out some simple cardio workouts. They usually only required household items, so it wont cost you anything, and plus most workouts are only a half an hour or so a day, if that.
The main thing is, don't lose sight of you're goal. You want to fit your dress, remember that. Whenever you're tempted to eat something you know you shouldn't, or skip breakfast or a workout... Just remember how you want to see yourself at prom, and how proud you will feel when you know you've accomplished you're weight.
