My computer wont let me access my mouse settings, what do I do?
I went to Control panel, clicked on mouse and it says Windows cannot access the specific file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them. How do I change that?
It wont let me access anything in control panel (link)

Are there any other users on your computer?
For example, if it is a family computer do other members of your family have their own account?
If so, your account most likely has certain settings that prohibit you from accessing or changing anything on the computer. You will have to go onto another users account that does not have these features and change your own.

So I have dark brown hair on all of these places, I keep shaving it..but it always grows back in a matter of hours!! How can I get rid of it for good?? (I'm 13) I feel really insecure about it and don't let anyone other that my closest friends know. I've tried hair removal cream, shaving, and bleaching. Nothing works!! Does anyone have advice on that I can do to get rid of/make the color get brighter so you can notie it as much?? PLEASE HELP!!! (link)
|
When you shave, the hair will grow back darker and thicker the more often you do it. I learned this through personal experience and I think the best way to remove hair is by waxing.
Waxing is inexpensive and easy to do. You can buy wax strips that can be very useful! It is painful, but in the long run it is so worth it. You could probably go 2-3 weeks in between waxes and the more frequently you do it the less often you will have to wax.
It may be a good idea to get one of your friends to help you, because waxing your own hair may be difficult due to the amount of pain.
I highly recommend waxing as a great hair removal method! Also, if you can afford it, get a professional to do it. Make an appointment to get your breasts, back and stomach waxed. They know what they're doing and usually do a good job. Don't feel ashamed either, many girls have body hair.

I'm just wondering if washing my face with a warm/hot cloth twice a day, will actually help me get rid of pimples, aswell as prevent them? If not, whats a good, cost-free way to get rid of pimples as well as prevent them. thanks for ANY advice :)

You should be washing your face everyday, twice a day! When you wake up, and before you go to bed. Going to bed with makeup on can cause you to get pimples, it's just not good for your skin.
I recommend an oil free cleanser, one that wont dry out your skin. I use different cleansers, my favorite being Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash in grapefruit. It smells great and leaves my skin soft and for the most part, acne free!

Im an 11 yr old girl + i aint started my periods yet but how willl i know when i have + whats the best advice that you can give to me ? (link)
|
Every girl is different and every girl matures at a different times. I got mine when I was 12, while my best friend didn't until she was 16.
When I got my period, I was really confused. It was brown and I didn't know what it was, so I asked my mom and that's what she told me. But like I said, every girl is different! So don't worry about not having started your period yet, it's a pain in the butt anyways haha!

First of all I know it isn't busted capillaries because its really high up on my arm and I haven't done anything lately that could cause that. It's these weir little purple dots on the upper part of my arm and they don't itch or hurt or anything they are just...there. I do have a skin condition called eczema but that usually itches and is red. What I'm wondering is if it could be just another part of my eczema or is it something else? (link)
|
I have a condition called Keratosis pilaris or `Chicken Skin`. It causes little bumps on my upper arm, that are usually red sometimes purple. Perhaps this is what you have. Google some pictures and check it out, if it looks familiar, or you think it`s something different altogether, make an appointment with your doctor and ask a professional!
Hope this helps :)

June 14th, when the second season of PLL started, I was away that night and couldn't watch the show. Since then, I've been forgetting to sit down and watch the second season every Tuesday. I tried searching online for all thee full episodes for free so I could catch up and watch it tonight on tv, but I'm having absolutely no luck.
Can anyone give me a website that you KNOW for certain the episodes are on? Season 2! Not 1!
Thank you! (link)

I am under the age of 18 but my parents have agreed to let me have it done. Im just not sure about it. Will i regret it? I know how to care for a piercing like this so it heals correctly, but id like to know the pros and cons. When im older and theres a possibility i wont want it anymore, can i remove it? I just dont want this to be something i'll regret. (link)

I got my belly button done about 2 months ago and I love it! I am also under the age of 18, but I think it`s totally worth it.
As long as you take proper care for your piercing, it will heal great and the end result will be adorable. I personally think navel piercings are very nice.
Once it`s healed completely and you want to remove it, there will be a small hole, hardly noticeable. As long as there`s no infection it wont scar, just make sure of that.
There are many cute belly rings you can get, and I think it`s a great idea :)

21 female. Nick 18
So I have known Nick forever. We just haven't always been close the whole time. Well recently we started hanging out more. But just this last week I was up at my cousins cabin and Nick's family cabin is right down the street (my aunt and uncle are good friends with nicks dad and step mom) and me and Nick were together all the time. He even slept with me every night.
I am starting to fall for him. I know he likes me cause he tells me. He's the sweetest guy and hes not like any other guy. He respects me and treats me like a princess. He doesn't try to hook up with me, he only cuddled with me all night when we slept together. He holds my hand and hugs me tight and reminds me of how beautiful he thinks I am every day.
The only thing that is holding me back from dating him is that he's 3 years younger than me. I just feel so weird and sort of like an idiot for going for a guy 3 yrs younger than me. I'm scared of what people will say or think -even my family. What do you guys think? Should this hold me back from dating him? Does it seem wrong?
Any advice is welcomed!:) (link)

It seems to me that you already know what you want, you just want someone else to reassure you that you`re making the right decision.
Well, you are. This guy seems great. You both know each other so well, there will be no secrets between you both and you don`t have to worry about impressing him.
I think you`re just stuck on the fact that you`ve probably known him since he was very young and immature. But you`re 21 and he`s 18, there`s nothing wrong with that age difference.
You wouldn`t have to be concerned about trying to impress him, or getting butterflies when you first meet someone new. He knows what you like and you know what he likes.
If I were you, I would do what you think is right, not what others will think is acceptable. Go for it girl, I wish you luck.

so i'll be a freshman this fall in college. I'm kind of a shy/quite girl around strangers, but when I"m with my friends I can really open up and be myself.
Short story- high school was hell for me. My high school had almost 4,000 kids total and it was really hard for me to fit in and find good friends. This year in college, i really want to change that. I want to make friends right away but I'm kind of clueless as to what to do. I'm not really the person who reaches out to other people.. i get kind of nervous when I talk to people i don't know. I just need help. hah. thanks!
oh and my college is small. it has about 2,500 or 3,000 undergrads and its a D3 private school. So the class sizes will be a lot smaller than what i'm used to. my mom said its a good thing because it will allow me to be more myself in class, and not hide in the corner like high school lol. (link)

What kind of things are you good at? Do you play any sports? Is drama, singing or playing instruments your thing? When you get to college, join teams, sign up for groups, anything that gets you involved with others!
You'll be hanging out with others in a small group, and that's a great opportunity to meet people that have something in common with you.
Go out! Don't stay inside all the time because you have no one to hang out with or nothing to do, surround yourself with people. You may surprise yourself. Good luck with everything, and above all, just enjoy yourself!

Okay, well my school is having a formal dance. And I need help finding a dress. This is what I'm looking for: short- above the knees, scrunched up bottom, and strapless, size 1 or 3. The color doesn't matter.
Could you give me the online link to a dress with those qualities? (link)

Okay, here's the deal.
The prom dress of my dreams only had a size 2 left in stock, which I bought.
..I'm a size 4.
I can fit into the dress, but it's slightly uncomfortable.
Prom is in early June and I need to slim down to a 2 by then.
What can I do?
I have no access to a gym / exercise machines.
Also, my schedule's pretty crazy at the moment; I get a LOT of hw/studying and don't get home from school until about 6pm.
I've considered walking home from the train after school (~3miles) every day. Would this be enough or should I do more? (link)

Well it sounds like you're not trying to lose an accessive amount of weight, just cut back on a few pounds.
You can start by staying hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is so important! Buy a water bottle, (plastic bottles harm the enviroment!!) and fill it up with nice cold water.. Carry it around with you when you go to school, the mall, etc. When you have it with you, you're more likely to drink more often.
You should also record everything you eat. Start by weighing yourself, then reccord it. From then on, reccord every single thing that goes in you're mouth from when you get up, until when you go to sleep. This is the key to most diets.
Eat healthy! Eat a good breakfast every morning. I know it may be hard, but by getting up 10 minutes earlier, could really help you. Plus, it is proven that by eating a good breakfast, you stay awake longer during school, and do better on tests. An example of a good breakfast would be, toasted, whole wheat bread with peanut butter (stay away from white bread!!), a glass of milk, and a piece of fruit. This way, you're getting all 4 food groups. Pack you're own lunch for school. Don't trust cafeteria food, and while out to resturants with friends, make shore you make the right choices with food!
Try excersizing whenever you get the chance.. When you first wake up, do a couple of pushups and crunches. Not only are you building muscle, it's an easy way to wake yourself up also! You could go online, and check out some simple cardio workouts. They usually only required household items, so it wont cost you anything, and plus most workouts are only a half an hour or so a day, if that.
The main thing is, don't lose sight of you're goal. You want to fit your dress, remember that. Whenever you're tempted to eat something you know you shouldn't, or skip breakfast or a workout... Just remember how you want to see yourself at prom, and how proud you will feel when you know you've accomplished you're weight.
Hope this helps :)

I am doing a really complex study for a class I am taking. I chose happiness as my topic it is something I've always wanted to study, and I would like to hear some opinions here. I need to see as many views as possible as this is all for research. I VERY much appreciate anyone taking the time to respond.
Here are the questions:
1. Are you happy?
2. What do you think would make you a happy person?
3. Do you believe money brings happiness?
4. What do you believe makes people happy/unhappy?
5. Any other interesting theories about happiness you'd like to share?
Even if you have a completely twisted view on this it would be very helpful to hear it, and this will all stay anonymous of course. THANK YOU! (link)
|
1. To be honest, No. I haven't been happy for quite a while now.. I'm 14 and I am fighting with my parents a lot. They are putting me through such a hard time when I'm with them.
2. I think I would be a much happier person if my parents would loosen up a little bit on me. They've got my leash pulled so tight, I can hardly breathe.
3. I think it matters about being with the people you love, not about money.
4. I believe, as a teenager, parents make us unhappy.. While friends can put us in such a better mood.
