After reading your question I went to Google and did a search for the key words 'Babysitting Certification'. I got 442 Thousand results. Here are a couple of sites I think you should look at to get information.
Just copy and paste to your browser. One of these has a search that you can use for your area too, so check it out!
If the YMCA, and these sites do not help you, I am sure you can always take the initiative to take a CPR class at the local fire department. Doing CPR on a baby is much different than CPR on an adult. So make sure your training is focused on infants, and toddlers.

they may also give you help on getting a CRB which will maximise your chances on gettin a babysitting job!
If your in school or college id alo talk to a carrers adviser-even if its just a saturday job thing... they can help you maximise your chances.
Oh id also look into contacting a nursery too! [ vikkikimberly's advice column | Ask vikkikimberly A Question ]
