buh, i need a job.

Question Posted Saturday February 6 2010, 2:06 pm

15/F

okay , so I really need a job and I'm all out of idea's.
i've applied at McDonalds twice :
once in August of last year.
and the second just 3 days ago .

i never got a call from the first time ?
i know i'm a little young,
but i'll be 16 in July..

my family doesnt have much spare money to hand out lately,
so i want a job so i can have some extra cash for whatever & also so i can begin saving up for a car.

if you know anyother places that hire my age,
or any good money making ideas are would be greatly appreciated :)

Besides fast food chains or supermarkets.

You can do something yourself. Like, washing cars. Put up flyers and wash cars for people. Or cleaning houses for your neighboors like doing their garden. Or you can definitely babysit. Put up flyers and you can lie about your age.

I did that once, babysitting for three weeks, 4 hours a day except fridays and I lied about my age.

Until you're 16, you're pretty much out of luck unless you can find a small family business somewhere.

Try a supermarket- some of them hire 14 and 15 year olds. Or a restaurant, for a busboy position.

If you can't get a job at McDonalds, you probably can't get a job anywhere else either. After applying, call and ask to speak to the manager. Show them how interested you are in the job and show initiative.

If that doesn't work, try applying to some other fast food restaurant chains.
