Dreams can be symbolic but sometimes they have no meaning at all. They can carry messages from your subconcious that need to get through to your concious. Also dreams are the way that your brain deals with problems and issues throughout life - so it can be a good thing to translate them :) [ x_s_a_r_a_h_x's advice column | Ask x_s_a_r_a_h_x A Question ]

There is nothing wrong with what you want to do, i interpret my dreams all of the time. a lot of people say they dont mean anything, but i beg a differ because alot of mine had meaning and/or came true [parts of it] do what you waant !

DearAbby92 answered Tuesday January 19 2010, 6:00 pm: I am sure God wouldn't be angry with you for thinking about the meaning of your dreams. Didn't God come to people in their dreams, at least in the bible? Just don't take your dreams literally, because they are usually symbolic and sometimes completely random!
Razhie answered Tuesday January 19 2010, 5:51 pm: There are examples of interpreting dreams in the bible... So, unless there is something particular in your sect of Christianity that looks down on dream interpretation, I can't imagine why there would be anything wrong with it.
However, most 'dream interpretation' stuff is bullshit. Dreams are just a collection of images based on the exercises our brain does at night. They are perfectly natural, and don’t have much meaning beyond “Hey! Look what my subconscious cooked up for me today!” It's cool to enjoy dream interpretation, but keep it to enjoyment okay? There is a lot of nonsense online, and taking it more seriously than that is just silly. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
