My Boyfriend of 4 months and I just had sex for the first time. Although this was my first time ever, it wasn't his, he's been with other girls of all shapes and sizes. He's very confident in his... sexual abilities. Anyway, we tried it a couple different times, and he just could not hold an erection. He said Its the first time that's ever happened to him, and he didn't know why he couldn't cum. He kept reassuring me that it wasn't me, and that he was interested, but he just couldn't stay hard. I Don't know of any other reasons why this problem would occur if he's done it so much before. is there anything I could do, or are there any other reasons why this could be happening? Thanks guys..
Sincerly, First time Failure.
Additional info, added Tuesday January 5 2010, 3:13 pm: Oh, I don't know if this matters but I'm 18 and He is 21. and I really don't know if size plays a part but he's 8 1/2 inches and we've successfully had oral sex, just...not intercourse... And no, he wasn't drinking or on any sort of medication at the time. Oh, and it's not because he's not getting constant stimulation, he'll be hard and inside of me and actually having sex, then he'll just go limp... Thanks again.. solidadvice4teens answered Thursday January 7 2010, 1:56 pm: Has he recently been kicked or suffered a blow to the groin? This is important because if he had it may be affecting his ability to achieve an erection easily.
Also, there could be something physically causing this and allowing blood to escape his penis instead of a valve shutting it off. Either way he should see a urologist to check things out.
Melody answered Tuesday January 5 2010, 12:20 pm: Did he drink any alcohol that day? That could always play a part in him being unable to hold an erection. First times are never great, and are usually always akward. I doubt it has anything to do with not being attracted to you. He was probably just nervous about having sex with you for the first time. inevitable_pain16 answered Tuesday January 5 2010, 11:06 am: this hapens sometimes to men. So don't think it's you because it's not. guys body has never wanted to respond to the brain, it is just who men are. I had this happen to my boyfriend and I and what I did is kinda spice things up. I made him lay back and feel comfortable while i did some work. I kinda teased him and then played a little. That really would get him going, so you try it. It works for me and my guy. Oh and you maybe new at this but trust me it will become natural. But don't do anything that you do not feel comfortable doing.
