Hi.
My husband's legs hurt him a lot. They feel like they are on fire most of the time. When I massage them the muscles feel like sand almost. We've been trying to figure out what it is without having to go to the doctor.
Only a doctor can let you know for certain if this is a medical problem. It is something that he needs to have checked out soon. It may be nothing, but don't take that chance. You'll both feel better if a doctor tells you that. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

Or...it could be due to one of a multitude of problems that affect the legs. If his condition doesn't improve soon, I wouldn't hesitate to see a doctor to rule out anything serious. If none of that works, you should really consider a doctor. You're husband might have something very important to tend to.
