I took a test at a phiciatrists' office, and it said I was insane. Actually insane. They said I should get "help" but I won't. Do I really need help? NO! I'm insane, mabye even crazy, but I will NOT get "help." Any @ home things I can do?
I think it's important to realize that tests taken by yourself cannot accurately reflect true results. I, for instance, have taken tests indicating that I am Schizophrenic and Borderline Personality, but my psychiatrist has ruled that I'm simply Bipolar. The point is, you might not be crazed at all. That's the beauty of human error.
So... things you can do at home? Do some actual research... and really getting help isn't so terrible, if it turns out that you're batty. It's not the trauma you think. [ pseudophun's advice column | Ask pseudophun A Question ]
laynemayhem answered Tuesday December 29 2009, 4:13 pm: if you truly are clinically insane, there is absolutely nothing you can do at home to help it. its not like a virus that you can take some antibiotics for, its far more serious than that. and don't be alarmed; what they meant by "help" is psychiatric help, not being tied up in a straightjacket taking sedative after sedative. what i would do if i were you is go to a psychologist, talk to them about what you found out, and see if they have anything to say about it. but again, like the person below me mentioned, you can't completely rely on those paper tests to be completely accurate. but like i said, go talk to a psychiatrist or psychologist, and they can tell if you really are in need of psychological help. Everything has flaws. A way to deal with any anxity you may feel is doing something to keep your mind off things. For example to get my frustration out I clean, cook, sew, write or play music, and write books. Writing is a great way to express your feelings in a healthy way. Also some people like to go on walks, exercise, listen to music, or read a good book. You are not insane and unless you are hrting anyone, I wouldn't worry about it.
