It could most definitely be insomnia. But to come to that conclusion, you'd have to see a doctor. What I suggest for the time being is that you get yourself to a pharmacy & pick up some non-habit forming sleeping pills. You can take these every night (or whenever you need them) and you won't become addicted to them (like most do when it comes to other medicines).
If you take those & they work fine for you, & you can get your sleeping back to normal, then your problem isn't insomnia. I would try those, but here are some tips to fall asleep easier:
I really hope this helps you. If none of this helps you (the tips, the sleeping pills) then I suggest you see a doctor about your sleeping problem & see what they say. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

It could be insomnia.
It could be stress.
If you tend to spend hours on the computer RIGHT before going to bed, that could cause it, too.
Try doing something relaxing (like a warm shower) before going to bed. Somethign that won't strain your eyes (like watchign TV or computer-ing), etc.

If it gets very bad, you can go to your local chemist or store where they sell sleeping pills. The one i have heard is good is night nurse but they may not sell it where you are. Good luck x [ jazzyloulou's advice column | Ask jazzyloulou A Question ]
