Hey! I woke up like a week ago and my boobs hurt. They hurt a lot! This is almost a week later and my boobs still hurt. What does this mean? Do I have cancer? :'(
katerinche_xx answered Thursday November 12 2009, 2:15 am: When your boobs hurts it usually means your about to get your period or your currently on your period.
Mine start to hurt a week before I get my period so you might be the same as me.
If you think you might have breast cancer check around your boobs and see if you can feel any lumps. But to me it sounds like your to young to get breast cancer so I wouldn't worry too much about it if I was you.
Wait a couple more days and if your period doesn't come and your boobs still hurt, go to the doctor and get yourself checked out.
But I'm pretty sure it's nothing serious.

I'm not sure what else it could me but it definitely does not indicate cancer. The majority of women who have breast cancer are completely unaware of it until it is picked up on their mammogram. If you have any abnormal lumps on your breast that may indicate cancer. You can test this by dong a BSE (breast self examination) But I really do not think that you have cancer at all. Do not worry about it. Mostly likely it is just hormonal changes. It will go away. [ youareneveralone7's advice column | Ask youareneveralone7 A Question ]
