ConfusedX2 answered Wednesday November 11 2009, 7:36 pm: they definitely hurt the first couples times i tried to put them in. once you get the hang of it, you really dont feel anything though. you just have to be sure youre putting it in at the right angle and that youre relaxed when youre doing it. every box of tampons comes with instructions with pictures usually, and as weird as that is they really helped me.
LOL_x0x answered Wednesday November 11 2009, 7:36 pm: It hurts for the first few times, but then it shouldn't hurt. After you get used to putting them in and wearing them, you should be fine.
Make sure you're putting them in right. That could be a definite reason for the pain you're experiencing.
Lonely_girl answered Wednesday November 11 2009, 6:03 pm: Yeah, i know where your coming from. I've been expierimennting with some different brands to see which ones hurt the least. I found that playtex sport ones work the best. Also if you try to get ones that are for light to regular flow, then they are slimmer, and will also reduce thchance of getting toxic shock syndrome. Good Luck

Volleyball2150 answered Wednesday November 11 2009, 4:52 pm: yea they do hurt... a lot...
here's a little story to make you feel better. I'm 17 and still dont wear tampons. its not the end of the world. i'm not going to die if i dont wear them..
yea i do wear them if i absolutely HAVE to.. but if i dont, then whats the point? if its going to hurt me in someway, i'd rather not do it.
big deal!
i really dont care if people tell me that i'm werid that i dont wear them. its like telling someone they're weird if they hate halloween..
anyways, keep trying and hopefully you'll get the hang of it. i'm just saying that don't give in to peer pressure. a lot of people these days are being influenced by their other friends to do things they dont want to do. so if you dont want to do it, you dont have to. just saying :)
OhMyPEACHYKEEN answered Wednesday November 11 2009, 3:18 pm: nope your not a freak lol. tampons DO hurt when your trying to get them in. when you got it in correctly then you shouldnt feel it at all. but until you get used to putting one in, itll probly reallly hurt [ OhMyPEACHYKEEN's advice column | Ask OhMyPEACHYKEEN A Question ]
