Hey guys....so my first love and I just had an unfortunate break up. Its been really tough on me, and it certainly had been a confusing split. I'm dealing with it as best as I can with some help from my friends and a counselor.
Now all thats left is for me to have my alone time to just be sad and cry. Can you please recommend some good break up songs? Something that will make me cry. Thanks.
Additional info, added Monday October 12 2009, 3:06 pm: I wouldn't mind some advice on how to distract myself from the pain I am feeling right now. I just want to move on and get over this stage as quickly as possible. I need to find someone new that I can trust.
He seems to have completely forgotten everything we ever had. I've been relating a lot to the song "Don't Forget" by Demi Lovato. He told me we'd be together forever, and that we would move to the city one day and have a family together. He promised to never leave me. I knew it was all far-fetched stuff and he said it probably just to be romantic, but it still hurts to know that looking back it means nothing to him anymore..... Rhett Miller- Come around
Old 97s- Lonely Holiday
Lucero- When you decided to leave
Smoking Popes- 1st time
Come pick me up- Ryan Adams
Damien Jurado- I'm Still here
Joe Firstman- Saving all the love
advice- Take these songs. Listen to them, have your cry. Give it a week, maybe two. But then when that week is up... get off the couch and into the world. Do everything you ever wanted to. Because eventually you will find someone new and then you wont have all this free time to yourself. Remember loneliness is only a feeling. There is being lonely and then there is being independent. Indepedent is sexy. Confidence is awesome. Doing what you love and being awesome is what's going to make you happy. People will see that. Nothing turns a guy on more than a girl who has her shit together. Seriously
Added bonus... living well is the best revenge. He will certainly have pangs of regret when he sees you happy.
First you have to be ready mentally, so your right, listen to these sad songs, do your thing, but when it's time, get up and get out. [ TimothyDanger's advice column | Ask TimothyDanger A Question ]

Ive written many many many songs and although they have never made it to the billboards ..not that that was the plan ..when i read them i smile and get amazed as how well i expressed myself. I wouldnt mind sharing but im not here to make you sad im here to give you the best advice to help you.
I hope this helps [ sobeg's advice column | Ask sobeg A Question ]
