Im sure she is being well cared for and they are helping her with any concerns or issues she may be dealing with.
Usually a child is put in a group home for serious reasons. Its usually cause the parent cant care for the conditions that the child has.
If your sister is handicap or mentally handicapped and your parents cant care for her because of work or the handicap has become to difficult or out of their knowledge or awareness to care for her they can place her in a group home or sometimes if the child is going to school and the school see's that the health or welfare of the child is at risk they will place the handicap child in a group home.
