Getting into a 16+ concert

Question Posted Wednesday September 16 2009, 7:34 pm

Theres a show i want to go to around the end of November. The problem is that you have to be 16 or older. I'm still 14 but i turn 15 in October. I dont look young (i've had people that thought i was in college) at all so will that benifit me? I need to show an ID? I have my school ID and it doesn't show the year I graduate. could i use that?

Is there any way that the venue will let people vouch for you? There was a venue I used to go to that only let people with ID in (even though they let it slide before...) and I took my cousin with me but I wasn't 18 yet, and he didn't have ID. Anyways, I had to call my mom so she could vouch for him, but as long as the person you go with is 18+ they should let you in because the person is an adult.

I'd call the venue and ask if that was the case, but if not, you can try & use your school ID.

concerts 16+ ive been to they have all asked for i.d.'s but, if you really want to get in, just find a side door with someone and slip him like a fifty or so, depends on the person, and he'll let you in.
hope you get to go!

Yes, use your school ID, but if you have any older sisters you could ask to borrow their license and dress up to look like them, same goes for older friends with the same facial features. You could dye your hair, or put on a wig and the rest makeup will do easy.
Also:
wear high heels &sophisticated clothing
dont act scared, just cool
dont giggle a lot

It may not work though because they might require a drivers license which will say how old you are not to mention you don't have one, but if you know anyone with a license or ID with similar features , ask for theirs to borrow.

Hope I helped :)
