Id never heard of this happening, but I am Pretty positive I've torn all the muscels in my stomach from WAY over excersising.
I can't stand up straight because it hurts so bad, when i stand up its excruciating. I know it will take time to heal this but I was wondering if there was some things I could do in the meantime to expend my mobility..

A lot of people take ice baths to ease the pain. Drink a lot of water. If you don't already, next time you need to do warm-ups in addition to cool-downs (stretches before and after exercising). Any stretching you normally do for warm-ups and/or cool-downs can work to help your current situation too. loveable17 answered Monday September 7 2009, 5:45 pm: I don't think that you tore the muscles in your stomach when you work out over the amount you are suppose to you work those muscles more then they are use too and the are just tired. You need ot stretch do not baby them or it will not get better. That is a good sign you are stregthing you muscles. What really works on tender muscles for me is Get two handtowels wet and put them in the freezer Put one of them on your muscles for about 10-15 mintues, then warm it up in the microwave and put the hot one on there for 10-15 minutes and then continue to do that over and over and keep freezing them it really works. well hope i helped [ loveable17's advice column | Ask loveable17 A Question ]
