My friends drawer was short 500 dollars at work after getting it count... should she be worried about loosing her job? She just got hired completed her 30 days last week & this is her first mistake..help?
However, like Christina said below, she'll probably get in trouble. The boss will probably talk to her about it and advise her to make sure it never happens again.
But like I said, I doubt she'll lose her job. Especially if it's her first mistake.

I understand that she's new but $500 is a lot to be short, and not exactly acceptable when someone is running a business. She should definitely expect to be scolded about this, and she'll probably be watched carefully by the manager to make sure she's meeting her quota or whatever for the day.
Just tell her to try harder next time, because I'm pretty sure with an amount that much the manager will probably only deal with this situation once. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

She will probably get "written up" for this incident, but each worker is aloud a few write-ups every-so often (depending on the company)
Since it was such a large sum of money: they may take into consideration if she can be considered a trustworthy person despite what happened. I mean, unless she comes of as a really shady person, she'll probably keep her job. [ LiSaxOBaBii's advice column | Ask LiSaxOBaBii A Question ]
