Kankles

Question Posted Monday June 8 2009, 2:20 pm

I am 13 years old and I'm everybody says I have kankles. They say wow why are you so skinny and then you just have kankles. Also they say my calfs don't fit my body because I'm skinny and then my calfs are fat. I don't know why I have kankles when I skateboard everyday for like 3 hours or more and I go to the gym every day and I play basketball for an hour a day. So I don't understand why I have kankles and the rest of my body is skinny. Mabey it's just like a trait from my parents and I can't fix it. Please help.

if your physically active and are skinny everywhere else
your kankles are most likely muscles.

Your body is going to change a lot. And as you get older, you'll find some people like them, some won't. Just like there will be things about some people you like and other things you won't. You are fine just the way you are.

Or maybe it's just muscle. Athletes have big legs because they exercise so much. Your running, and skateboarding especially, cause your muscles to get bigger. You should be proud of them, it means you are fit. :)

If you don't want them, cut back on the exercising a bit, but why one earth would you not want them>
