I think it's good to talk about your problems. Whoever you talk about them to has a different perspective, could ease your mind about things and help you see a different side. Also a lot of the times saying stuff out loud may help you realize something new. Somtimes if i'm talking to someone about a problem I end up saying something that I didnt even know I had a problem with. Stuff like that that's why.

It helps with most problems, yes. You vent and get all of your feelings out. Once they're out in the open, you can sort them out better than when they're jumbled in your head. Plus you have a third party that can help you plan a course of action to make the problem better. Sometimes you can't see a situation or the solution to a problem when you're actually involved in the situation. A third party can see things how they really are and let you know what everyone's point of view is.

The other person can provide you with important feedback and shed some new light on the situation from his/her perspective because sometimes you need someone on the outside not involved in your situation, like a third party, to "objectively" analyze your case better. Talking about problems out loud or writing about it in a journal can also help you organize your thoughts on the situation and sometimes you can come to an epiphany or realize something you haven't before when you do. If you repeat the problem long enough you feel better getting it out of your system and whoever you are confessing to can help console you =]

Well, it's true. Talking about your problems really does help sometimes. It's a way to vent, resolve conflicts, etc.

For example: My friend and I got into a HUGE argument last year and it would have never been resolved if we didn't talk things out. We would probably still be angry at each other and miss all the fun times we had from then til now.

So, talking about your problems really does help you. It just depends on who you talk to. It would help if you talked to someone who is full of advice and listens well. Someone who is also trustworthy.

It's really not good to keep things bottled up. You might explode one day.
