Like someone else said, it's evolutionarily disadvantageous because the people involved will be running a higher risk of genetic defects if the two decide to have children because harmful recessive traits are more likely to show up, even if you're just talking about dating and not marriage and getting pregnant. I'm not sure if marriage is legal between first cousins either.. don't think so. Well, unless they are the same gender, people still think that is wrong.
