so basically i met this guy at the beginning of the school year.at first we didnt talk even when he dated my "friend" for a little bit.then after they finally broke up he asked me if id like to be his friend.so i said yes ever since we have become closer and closer.as you probably figured i grew to like him.he sometimes acts like he likes me but at times he dont.he told my friend he wasnt intrested me but told my other friend he would think about going out with me.but he still flirts with me.he doesnt act like just a friend sometime.so i just kinda wanna see what he might mean by all this.thank you.

well i think he might be interested in you, but he doesnt know if he wants to get with you because he was with your friend...or maybe he doesnt want a relationship, get to know him more...like text with him, flirt with him, and try to get more out of him until he speaks his mind! if you try to get more out of him and he doesnt really seem to go with what you are trying to do, maybe he just wants to flirt! guys are so confusing lol.

oh, the wonderful world of a boy's mind, it's a complicated and confusing place, trust me haha. It's like they should come with an instruction booklet ;] okay I was in a similar situation as yours at one point in time. He most likely is confused about where he stands with you, and where he WANTS to stand with you. This may be occuring because he might still have feelings for his ex, or doesn't know if you feel the same way as he does, or he doesn't want anything to be awkward between the both of you if you find out that he DOES or DOESN'T like you. yuh know? it would clear things up if you just told him how you felt and then he could stop trying to figure you out, and get with the program. yuh know? it's like a test, you don't know what will be on it, and during the test you're trying to figure everything out, and afterwards you know what was on it and what the answers should have been. it's the same thing with guys and girls trying to figure out what they want from one another. I believe that he likes you since you both openly flirt, but he wants to tell you himself how he feels [not your friends] or he wants YOU to tell him how you feel [that's why he said 2 different things to 2 of your friends so he could see your reaction.] So basically, he likes you, but is confused.

Well.. he could just be trying to figure out how he feels for you, or perhaps he's a player and really doesn't like you like that.. They're always flirting.
