If you want to avoid an akward conversation, do it to them first. Most guys want to please the girl and if they find it pleasing theyll try it. ya know. if he doesnt pick up on it after a couple of days, youll have to go with the straight forward approach. :)

sometimes its just easier to tell them (while your gettin into it) if you kiss me here i like it or somthing, but other than that try looking up and closing your eyes while he's on top and get him to look down or somthing and push his head towards you. though he could get the wrong idea and kiss you in more places than you bargained for xD hopefully i helped a little bit this was a hard question to answer with decent advice :S

try kissing his neck first then he will probably try it on you. or you can hint it like when you guys are watching a movie and the guys kissing the girls neck you can say something like "i love when guys do that"
