By no means.
I've been depressed, not depressed, depressed, not depressed...since I was about 12.
Now I'm 16 and finally getting a grip on my rollercoaster emotions.
If you think you're severely depressed, talk to a doctor.
In the past 4 years, I've taken 3 different antidepressants & adderall.
Only thing that worked? Adderall.

not at all. i was severley depressed when i was 12 and then again when i was 14. im much better now (im 17) but it takes a long time to feel happy and ok about yourself again. talk to your friends, dont keep it inside it will just add to your anxiety. talk to people you and trust and people who will take you seriously and not judge you

14 is deff. not too young to have depression. Anyone any age can have depression, I started having depression when I was 8. You might want to consider talking to one of your parents if you think you are depressed. Good luck and feel free to come talk to me if you need it.

People even younger than 14 can have depression. Actually, having some depression during your teen years is normal. Everyone suffers from it now and then.

Normal is being depressed a couple of days. Being happy and in a good mood a few days and then getting depressed again for a few days.

If you get in a funk and are depressed for weeks and months without any good days at all. That is a problem you need to seek medical advice for.

So just know that everyone is depressed now and then. It is a normal part of life.
