Alot of people never know nwhat to do in a situation like that. I give you props for helping out a friend. Anyway if he doesnt see that you tried to help him well then he wont ever return the favor for you. You should think of the good deed that you did not the ungrateful person who doesnt know how to say thank you.

First of all you have absolutely nothing to feel bad about. I know it's hard to tell on a friend but you did the right thing. Having him mad at you is not worth the possibility of him taking his life or someone elses. The best way to find out how he is feeling is to talk to him. Don't let him make you feel guilty though. I know you like this guy, but it sounds like he's pretty unstable and needs help.
If he is angry at you, the best thing could be to just be to explain that you care about him and wanted to help him. If he is still angry you, you might want to reconsider whether you want or need someone like this in your life. In time he may realize your intentions and be thankful. If he doesn't, hes not worth it.

well dont feel too guilt because imagine how guilty u wold feel if u didnt do anyhting about it and he killed himself and someone else. you did a good thing. hes probably really pissed cause he got arrested and stuff. maybe try apoligizing to him, though that prob. wont be enough. if its not enough let him cool down. give him space and time, and that shhouldnt be hard consiering hes in jail or whatever. i hope i culd help :)

First of all, you've done a good thing.
You've prevented your friend from killing that other guy and himself.I think he should be grateful.Anyway, try talking to him and see where it leads. If it doesn't work, let him cool down, then try again.I hope I helped you somehow. <3
