im a jr. in high school in the u.s. and i wasnt born here so im kinda not legal here. lol. i want to go to collage in Canada. how can i apply and are the schools the same thing as here. i want to go to a school in Alberta, Canada. oh i already talked to my school counselor she wont help. she doesn't really understand what im talking about!
Instead of the college and junior college ranks, we have universities and colleges.
Universities are where you get your degree. At colleges, you get a diploma. Depending on what you want to go for, make sure you pick the right kind of school!
In Alberta, there is no standardized application system like there is in Ontario (where I'm from). You apply through the schools themselves. Go to the website of the school, and check under the registrar's office link.
