winter formal!

Question Posted Sunday February 8 2009, 1:30 pm

okay so my winter formal is in two weeks and i still dont have a dress ! my mom is letting me order one online since the dress stores around here dont have anything good. well im a bigger girl, not plus size, but like a large or extra large in regular sizes. and i need a dress that would flatter my figure, like one with an empire waist. so if anyone could give me some awesome sites or direct links to dresses like that, that would be amazing! my budget is under $100. thankyou!!

Of course, it would be much better to go to the store and try the dress on, but there are a few options for curvy girls that always look great.

This would be a very cute option. Since the dress flows away from the body, it hides any spots you may be embarrassed of.

This dress is ADORABLE. Anything with a pleated bottom all over is really great. It kinda gives a nice Marlyn Monroe effect.

I can't seem to find a good one, however, wrap dresses look terrific on curvy figures. They create a great hour glass shape.

Remember that the perfect little black dress will always look fabulous on every woman. This is just an example, if you look around, I'm sure you can find one you love.

Finding a dress under $100 is not easy. If I were you, I'd try websites like:

www.forever21.com
www.charlotterusse.com
www.loveculture.com
www.macys.com

Where they aren't as formal but still very cute. Good Luck!
