I've never been to a music festival or concert but there are a lot coming up that me and my friends want to go to during the hotter months. What sort of clothes should I wear?
Any examples or pictures would be greatt
You need to keep in mind what the atmosphere will be like at these concerts.
If the music will be quite heavy and people jumping around you, pushing and shoving, then make sure that you wear sensible shoes (flat) but flip flops would not be a good idea.
If it's just going to be a night out in a concert hall, then were jeans and a nice top, but dress them up with heels (as long as they don't hurt your feet, you can walk of them and of corse you can dance in them).
Like you said though it will be in the hotter months and you may sweat, so a good deodorant and possibly a short sleeved top however if you wear a short sleeve top be sure to take a jacket just incase you do happen to get cold, or for when you leave the music festival/concert.
Whatever you decide to wear make sure you feel comfortable in it, there is nothing worse than feeling bad about yourself and that spoiling your evening.

Hope this helps!

- it will be hot.
- people will push you
- you will sweat.
i always go to concerts during the summer
and one time i wore jeans, vans & a tank top.
another time i wore red soffee shorts with a white shirt and red converse with big shades.
i lovee wearing soffee shorts since they're so comfortable and keep you cool. don't wear jewelry and try to stay away from make-up cause i'll just melt when you sweat. also try to wear shoes with laces or one that don't come off easily.

Having suitable shoes would probably be more important. Closed shoes would be safer than sandals because concerts tend to be crowded, and you might get stepped on. Also avoid high heels because you might spend a lot of time standing up. [ The_MoUsY_spell_checker's advice column | Ask The_MoUsY_spell_checker A Question ]

I generally wear converse with jeans(preferably not skinny jeans since it get SOOO hot) and a band shirt or a tank top. Minimal accessories...no necklaces or bracelets since I've had a few pulled off in the past.
But then again I get into the crowd a lot, and do a lot of moshing (Metal concerts :D) so that's my experience.
Don't over do it, and make sure you feel good. Don't wear your best jeans because you never know what could happen.
Some asshole ruined my favorite AC/DC shirt by burning a huge hole in it with a cigarette.

There are most likely going to be alot of drunk or high people there, so no need to be the center of attention. Just try to have fun and dress casual :] [ lryanl's advice column | Ask lryanl A Question ]
