Burnt carpet?

i forgot my straighter on, it fell on my white carpet. Got WAAY to hot and burnt my white carpet. Any suggestions?

Put something over it, buy a new carpet, or use really good carpet cleaner.

Try using carpet cleaner on it first to remove as much as possible. Then get a straight edge razor and use it to gently scrap the fiber tops. As long as it didn't burn down too far you shouldn't be able to tell. If you google "burnt carpet" there are more tips and suggestions but these seem to work the best.
