Ingrid Michaelson, Colbie Caillat, or Taylor Swift. Songs I'd recommended by each:

Ingrid Michaelson:
- The Way I Am [as somebody mentioned below]
- Breakable.
- Die Alone.
- Be Ok.
- The Hat.

Colbie Caillat:
- Feelings Show.
- The Little Things.
- Something Special.
- Magic.

Taylor Swift:
- Love Story.
- You're Not Sorry.
- Should've Said No.
- White Horse.

Good Luck :]

-Laura (16-f)

It really depends on your voice. If you have high/slow girlish voice try "I hate this Part" by the Pussycat Dolls, "Running Back" by Jessica Mauboy, "Cry For You" by September, "Sweet About Me" by Gabriella Cilmi, "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis, "Bubbly" by Colby Caillat or "If I were a Boy" by Beyonce.
If you have a upbeat voice try "I Kissed a Girl" or "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry, "Womanizer" by Britney Spears or "See you Again" by Miley Cyrus.

It really all depends on wha songs you like and what type of voice you have.

I'm not sure what genre you enjoy, but have you thought about Taylor Swift songs?

A lot of her songs are amazing, especially for what you want because she wrote them around that age. She has a beautiful voice, and if you're good at singing, it shouldn't be too difficult to do any of her songs.
