It's also VERY likely that your partner will "slip" closer (or actually INSIDE, in some cases) your vagina. This also is concern for a bacterial infection that can render you completely infertile and leave you in a lot of pain for the rest of your years if it isn't treated as soon as possible. This being said, you're wanting to engage in sexual activity without the risk of pregnancy or major illness then anal sex is NOT what you're looking for.
(My answer includes: "Among the diseases with which anal sex is associated are HIV, anal cancer (seriously), typhoid fever, and various diseases associated with the infectious nature of fecal matter or sexual intercourse in general. Among these are: Amoebiasis; Chlamydia; Cryptosporidiosis; E. coli infections; Giardiasis; Gonorrhea; Hepatitis A; Hepatitis B; Hepatitis C; Herpes simplex; Human papillomavirus (HPV); Lymphogranuloma venereum; Pubic lice; Salmonellosis; Shigella; Syphilis; Tuberculosis. Using condoms will decrease these risks; however, they do not protect 100%.
Physical damage to the rectum and anus are serious and hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and rectal prolapse may occur. Damage is more likely if communication is poor or if technique is clumsy; condoms do not help protect against this sort of damage. Basically, if you don't know what you're doing or you end up doing something wrong by accident you may end up in the emergency room having surgery or stitches.")
Sperm are made to swim to their goal--your egg. That is all they want to do. That is all they know to do. If just a "drop" leaks to your vagina then you're in trouble because the only thing they need is a little fluid to swim through.
You cannot get pregnant from giving a blow job; however, you can contract a wide variety of STDs and STIs. I suppose it IS possible to become impregnanted if the semen from your mouth somehow comes in contact with your vagina--say you get some semen in your mouth and then kiss your partner before he gives you oral--THEN you have concern for pregnancy along with the STDs/STIs.
People have contracted oral (and genital on the mouth) herpes, oral hpv, oral chlamydia, oral gonorrhea, mono, and more from engaging in oral sex. When giving a blow job, AT LEAST use a condom to lessen your risks of infection. If receiving, have your partner use a dental dam to lessen your infection risk. Seriously, it may seem silly now but once you catch something you'll wish you could go back and say, "Hey, wait a minute!"
Seriously consider using "protection" to lessen your risk of pregnancy if you're going to engage in sexual activity.. The hormonal birth control pill is 92% effective on preventing pregnancy, typically. Condoms are about 88% effective on preventing pregnancy. These two methods coupled are probably the best choice of "protection" that is affordable. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
thelaura answered Sunday November 30 2008, 4:52 pm: 1. If semen somehow manages to drip down into your vagina, then yes, you can get pregnant. but if semen doesn't come into contact with your vagina, then no.
elw5039 answered Sunday November 30 2008, 1:37 pm: Yes that is true. You cannot get pregnant from either of those things. You can get an std however, if you dont protect yourself. [ elw5039's advice column | Ask elw5039 A Question ]
