Ok so i have a.d.d. and i can't concentrate on my work or school at all!! i mean i wanna get my grades up so bad! but i just can't concentrate on anything my mind just races and races and i just can't focus on what im doing, i can't take it. this is horribe, what do you think i should do??
if you could please help me i would appriciate it alot!!! i have so many projects i have to do soon

Maybe give some free advice about: School? xkayx22 answered Monday November 3 2008, 7:01 pm: i've got a.d.d too and i realize that it can be a lot to handle. if you don't absolutely need to be medicated for it then don't. i'm really dependent on my pills now.. for instance..if i don't take my chlonodine in the morning i'll have a really weird day and fall asleep during my classes, and if i don't take my concerta at night i cant fall asleep. try getting rid of anything thats going to distract you.. like your cell phone or the tv when your trying to get work done. it would probably help to stay after school to work on those projects, especially if your school blocks recreational websites. if nothing seems to help definitly get medicated or look into trying new medications if you already are. orangebutterfly answered Monday November 3 2008, 2:44 pm: i know how you feel. when I was in school. all my mind did is race.. thing is try think what mroe important. i mean worrying don't fix anything and yet try relize there nothing you could do change what your thinking. gods only control it. and other thing only person read your mind is god. so you be becareful what your thinking. just pray to your slef and do some breathing exercise and give your mind a break. just relex watch some yoga videos or Medatice music. maybe ocean sound or anyt sound you like listen while oding your homework. o and watch less tv. i think sometimes watching to much tv before home work and yet before bed time can really mess your brain up. here lathy i try spend less time watching tv and maybe i try spend less time on here. just do puzzels and things that keep my mind focus and not thinking and talking to my self all the time. and i learn you can't control perosn who you compare to what you want to say and when you see them you be so disppontied. so try to acceppts way things are and close your eyes and maybe count to 100 and do some breathing. i been practing. hope i help [ orangebutterfly's advice column | Ask orangebutterfly A Question ]
