Question Posted Wednesday October 29 2008, 9:11 pm
Ok so my best friend and I hang out all the time and we tell eachother everything. Lately a lot of my stuff has been missing, some of my favorite shirts and a special necklace that I got from my great grandma. I honestly know that I had my shirts in my closet and my necklace on my dresser. I know that they are not lost, i looked everywhere. I have a feeling that my best friend stole them. a few months ago she stole my other friends shirt and my friend found out and took it back. But my best friend swears she didn't steal it and it is hers. I really think she stole them and I really want them back. How do I find out if she stole them? And if i ask her how do I get her to tell the truth? Please help!

Alilash answered Thursday November 6 2008, 6:54 pm: Do you have any proof to actually say it was her except that she did that to one of your other friends a few months ago? Don't play the blame game, but ask her nicely. You'll find out either way or another if she did take your stuff or not. Someone will find out and tell you. Say to her "Listen I dont want to blame you but some of my shirts have been missing, do you have them. I don't care if you do, i just really need them because my mom needs it" Or something, try to stay calm and act like it doesn't really matter. If you know for a face she did it say "Please just give it to me now, I don't care if you have it but if you deny it and I find out that'll make me mad" I hope this helps! I've been in your position and I ended up getting my stuff back. Some people are easier than others(: [ Alilash's advice column | Ask Alilash A Question ]

and maybe if you spend the night at her house sometime soon, look around her room...?
hope you get your stuff!
