how to have a nice convo through text... HELP

hey my name is claire,
Okay so I really like this guy, we call each other our "bestest friends" and last night we hung out for the first time and he asked for my number so i gave it to him then i got his. Now when he texts me i'm afraid the conversation is going to be boring like
Him: hey
me: Heyy
him: whats up?
Me: nm bored you?
him: sameee haha
me: coool
...and then its just going to be awkward and boring. i don't want him to think i'm a boring person. so like what could i say to make the conversation go on for like EVER. you know like when you have those late night texts staying up all night texting the one you like? I want to do soemthing like that so like what could i say to make the conversation last long and have him interested in me? Thanks<3

Ok, well first, NEVER say "nothing just bored"! Always say what you're doing, even if it's just watching tv, it leaves another conversation open (ex: "oh cool whatcha watching?"). Since you've already hung out with him, say something like "Oh, remember when I/you did [something]?" bring up stuff that made you two laugh and recall it or tease him about it :) Also, if it does get awkward, don't be afraid to make fun of the silence! Say something like "sooooo are we going to talk or just sit here". You know, just acknowledge it in a funny way and he should say something like "what do you want to talk about?" which leaves the decision up to you about what you two can talk about :) Goodluck!

k so i get what your saying just tease him about something that way the convo goes on and on because you two will end up teasing eachother in a funny way and then eventually when you stop teasing eachother you will have more of a conversation i hope i helped good luck:)

When I started talking to my friend who I liked (who is now my boyfriend) over text, I would always try and be fun and good to talk to.
Like he'd text me, and, yeah, we'd have the normal conversation to start off like you, but then I said something completely out-of-the-blue to talk about. It could be something silly like how good ice-pops are or something you saw on TV. I always would be random and fun (because he was no fun if it wasn't for me). He really liked that I could be funny, original and bring up different topics every conversation we had.
Have fun and don't worry about what he'll think, in the end, he'll probably want to talk to you more and on a daily basis. If he's not going to be a good conversation-starter, you have to be, so bring up anything that you think would be a good, long and fun conversation.
I usually say things like, "guess what", "oh my gosh, know what?", "know what I like?" and then he'll say, "what?", and then you can go completely random from there.

The key to not having a boring conversation is to MAKE it fun! Start it off exciting, sweet, or even funny just to get the conversation going. Bring up the other night before anyone even says 'whats up?' and also never give 1 or 2 word texts, that just kills the conversation. Asking a lot of questions helps too, just get to know him and he'll probably be shootin back at you.
If it gets too good, you may even end up with one of those late night phone calls :)
