should i tell this guy i like him?
okay so ive been friends with this guy since seventh grade... and i'm a freshmen in highschool now.....ive basically liked him ever since i met him lol but i have never told him how i felt.... and it's driving me crazy... and the homecoming dance is in oct. and i would love it if him and me went... the thing is he is shy and i dnt even know how he feels about me.... i need help!!!

i resently told my Best friend how i felt and he sorta felt the same but he didnt completly and we are still best friends with nothing wierd...
so ethier way things have thier way of working out even if he says no....

Are you actually friends or really just acquaintences?
Because if you're actually friends (you talk, hang out, etc), then it wouldn't be weird at all for you to ask him if he wants to go to the homecoming dance with you.
If he then asks if you want to go as friends or dates, you can say whichever one he wants to go as. That way you don't come directly out and say it, but it's obvious that you like him & he'll know whether to let you down gently if he doesn't feel the same or to say as dates if he does.
