Question Posted Wednesday July 16 2008, 1:13 pm

I want to be famous, I love to act and sing. I'm not that great at singing. I would love to be on Broadway but I don't know if I would make it. I don't know what to do with my life. I'm 14, so I want to take high school classes that will help me in what I want to be. I love fashion and everything but I don't know what to do any ideas?

Practice your singing everyday with exercises and warm-ups. It's good for your voice.

Schools provide drama classes, choir clases, acting classes, and such. Take a look into those subjects and if you need help, talk to your conselor if you want.

Post youtube videos of you singing and get feedback from kids around the world. It's good to get critisim and praises about your singing. Feedback is good.

Practice fixing up teared up jeans and making your own fashion clothing. Go to fabric stores and explore deeper in your hobby: fashion.

Look in the phonebook and try finding acting classes nearby. Good way to communicate with others and get a sneak peak what you will be doing if you really want to be on Broadway.

Search online for fashion ideas, look in books at libraries or book stores. Research is good.

Maybe a singing coach could be good. Practice on your vocals. They can teach you new habits and ways to get better.

Practice pratice practice whatever you want to do. Perfect practice makes perfect.

GOOD LUCK!

Take choir at your school.
Take an acting class there.
Join drama club.
Join any clubs involving vocals.
Get a vocal coach.
Join fashion club at your school. If you don't have one, make one! Someone recently started one at my school and I'm learning how to sew =].

At my school, we have choir offered as a class. If your school had that too, it would definitely help you out.

Other than that, I don't know what your school specifically offers, but maybe a public speaking class, just to help you out with your confidence? Or perhaps creative writing just to help you learn how to get your creativity flowing?

Hope this helps =]

well for one thing, you're 14. You have plenty of time to decide. But I do understand how you feel, I'm 17 and I love acting and singing too. Being famous would be pretty cool. But here is what I did, I took as many arts classes as I could at my school, drama and musical theatre and dance. It really helps to broaden your interests and expand your talents. Since you want to do Broadway, see if you can sign up for a musical theatre class at your school. Also, if you want to make your singing voice stronger, you may want to get a singing coach. It helps especailly if you want to do Broadway, you have to be the best of the best, and youwill be if you really believe in yourself, and take every opportunity granted to you.

Best of luck with everything! And keep chasing those dreams, youll go far!!
