Cux answered Tuesday July 15 2008, 8:03 pm:
My director from my school has had some of her students go on to Broadway, and she actually said that they make less than Off-Broadway, meaning that the actors in shows not directly on Broadway, but are still high up in the theatre "line", I guess, make more than those who are on Broadway.

I don't really know how much, nor do I remember the reason, but maybe this search will help you:

Generally the odds of making it are slim, but if you really dedicate yourself, you could make it ;]

depends what play/movie/show they are highered for. There isn't really an "average" but I do know it's a lot. The chances are very very very very very very slim. The people that are famous for acting are famous because either, a) they devoted their life to their job. Literaly. or b) they "Know someone" who helped them.

the average broadstar income?
it's different, no matter what. each role and each play is different, so i can't really give you an average.

and the odds are slim.
people on broadway, have been in SO many plays and are amazing, they've taken the time, money, and practice to get to where they are now.
