vindicated answered Thursday June 19 2008, 3:27 pm: I'm on tricyclen-lo, and I haven't gained any weight at all. If anything, I think I may have lost weight. Not once have I felt bloated, or sick, or had any bad side-effects. [ vindicated's advice column | Ask vindicated A Question ]
marajm34 answered Wednesday June 18 2008, 7:28 pm: Depending on your weight you can use a low dose pill like ortho-tricyclen lo. It will not make you gain weight, you might even lose a few. It is not recommended for people over 140lbs. I think it makes it less effective or something. Check it out on line. [ marajm34's advice column | Ask marajm34 A Question ]

meg063085 answered Wednesday June 18 2008, 2:50 pm: DO NOT get the shot OR take Loestrin24!!! The 2 worst ever. I didnt get the shot but I know someone who did and gained a TON of weight. I did however take Loestrin24 for 1 year and gained 40 lbs. I'm just so mad it took me that long to know what was causing the weight gain. [ meg063085's advice column | Ask meg063085 A Question ]
BahaiMa22 answered Wednesday June 18 2008, 1:09 pm: 1. Depo Provera -The shot that last 3 months and you get it every 3 months. However you will gain about 12 pounds.
2. The patch- No weight gain
3. IUD Marena - Inserts inside you - No weight gain
I think you may want to concider seeing your doctor. However I have had the best luck with the IUD.
