Whats considered sexually active? I've taken part in oral sex and mutual masturbation but I have not had sex. When the doctor asks me if I'm sexually active do I say yes, no, or ... kinda? Lol thanks!

Yes, you would be considered sexually active, especially since you can contract STDs/STIs from oral sex and mutual masturbation. Herpes (HSV-1 & HSV-2), chlamydia, syphilis, HPV (Human papillomavirus), and even HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) can be transmitted by engaging in oral sex. That I'm aware of, things like herpes and HPV can also be transmitted by fingers/hands--more if there are cuts on the fingers.
It's important to inform your doctor when you have been sexually active and how many partners you have had. If you want to clarify it has only been oral and mutual masturbation then you may do so and they may write it in on your chart for references.
In short, answer yes if your doctor asks if you are, or have been, sexually active. You may specify what sort of activities you have engaged in if you feel you should do so. ]
When doctors ask if you are sexually active you tell them yes. You had oral SEX right? SEX is right in the name! Therefore you have had a form of sex. Mutual masturbation is a gray area, but it is still sexually active material. Would you and your friends tell your parents what you have been doing? If the answer is no, then it counts as being sexually active. ]
You say YES, for the simple reason being: If you happen to catch an STI for instance, you CAN catch them through oral sex - and the doctor needs to know. ]
Sexually active is when you have actually had sex.
Like penis in the vagina.
Haha, hope I helped.
I was confused also... ]
It all depends how you define it.
I myself define "sexually active" as doing anything like oral sex, anal sex, vaginal sex, and the like. Basically anything that is done with someone else sexually. So according to me, you've been sexually active, but that's really up to you to decide what you define as that.
Usually when doctors ask, they mean vaginal sex. So I guess you would say no.
