i refuse to go tanning in a sun bed because i don't want skin cancer but i'm embarressed to go outside and tan because i'm really pale so i've been trying tan in a bottle stuff. All of the stuff i've tried has glitter or sparkly stuff in it. Has anyone used a non-scented, not glittery tanning product that seemed to work? if so can you please tell me what its called/where to get it?

It has no glitter or scent, and actually looks natural. i have a few peices of advice for using it though--
-when you rub the lotion on legs, skip over knees and use only what is left on them. This will prevent all the little streaks that you normally get using tan lotion.
-do the same as above on elbows
- always wash hands thouroughly after using it!!!
Hope i helped. Jergens natural glow can be used in different skin tones and is found at Walmart, target, etc. for about 7 dollars. [ pinkers's advice column | Ask pinkers A Question ]

Disconnected answered Monday June 2 2008, 11:21 am: I've been using
Garnier Skin Naturals - bodySummer
It doesn' make me orange, it has a very light scent, but it's not sparkly, and it makes your skin really nice.
You should be able to get it from most durgstores and such :)
thelaura answered Monday June 2 2008, 9:59 am: You can get sprays which gradually turn into a tan after say 1/2 weeks of using them. They don't look glittery and you can get good smelling ones or ones that don't smell at all. I know Garnier does different ones.
Next time you're out, take a look at what's there and ask to test them on a piece of card or something so you can smell it.
Another option is going for a spray tan. They don't cost much and you can be sure you get full coverage because it's professionally done. :) [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
iSpEaKsPaNiSh answered Monday June 2 2008, 3:42 am: I just got Neutrogena's gradual tanning sunblock. I can protect myself from the sun AND still tan! I don't think it's completely unscented but the smell isn't too bad or strong at all. I recommend it. [ iSpEaKsPaNiSh's advice column | Ask iSpEaKsPaNiSh A Question ]
