Ooh! I made the BEST running playlist last night! Well, best for me, anyway. I tend to run to heavy, driving music with a fast beat. A lot of the time, it's music by Disturbed. Here's my playlist (usually on shuffle):

DISTURBED

*Liberate (Believe album)
*Just Stop (ten thousand fists)
*Guarded (Ten thousand fists (This one is really driving and good to sprint to)
...it's so good I apparently put that song on my playlist twice. Right, next song...
*Deify (Ten Thousand fists) (about 15 seconds in is where the beat starts. It's Bush quotes at the beginning)
*Stricken (Ten Thousand Fists)
*I'm Alive (Ten Thousand Fists)
*Sons of Plunder (Ten Thousand Fists)
*Decadence (Ten Thousand Fists) (Beginning's a little slow, might be a better song to speedwalk to...)
*Forgiven (Ten Thousand Fists)
*Land of Confusion (Ten Thousand Fists)
*Sacred Lie (Ten Thousand Fists)
*Pain Redefined (Ten Thousand Fists) (This is always the song playing during one of my last laps, where I'm like "Pain redefined is running three miles in half an hour when your leg hurts and you can't breathe. *Runs faster*")
*Avarice (Ten Thousand Fists)

EVANESCENCE
*Weight of the World (The Open Door)

GREEN DAY
*In The End (Dookie)

NICKELBACK
*Flat on the Floor (The Long Road)
*Believe It Or Not (The Long Road)

NO DOUBT
*Hella Good (Rock steady)

PAPA ROACH
*Not Listening (Getting Away With Murder)
*Getting Away With Murder (Getting Away With Murder)
*Done With You (Getting Away With Murder)

THREE DAYS GRACE
*Riot (One X)

Disturbed's first album, The Sickness I think, is also really good for driving beats, I just don't have it, lol.
Anyway, those are some suggestions. Have fun!

Go for really fast and upbeat songs.

I'll say Steady As She Goes by the Raconteurs.
Maybe some Gavin Degraw (I Don't Wanna Be or I'm in Love with a Girl). Or some Weezer would do nicely.
C'Mon C'Mon by the Von Bondies is pretty fun.

Hope I helped!
