uh guys sleeping ovefr?

Question Posted Wednesday April 2 2008, 10:44 pm

Im planning to have a sleepover with my friend and our 2 guys friends at my house. My mom is usually okay having people over and they can leave at 3 in the morning. But i want to ask her if they can sleepover, what the best way?

& im 14 in grade 9, those guys are just our friends from long ago in elemantry schools, & we just want to have fun watch movies etc.

so what is the best way for her to say yes for them to sleepover. And if she says no, i still want them to come, so what should i do? lol

Haha, i wish my mom was cool enough to let my guy friends stay super late :P lol.

So Maybe you should like have them over..reallly late like you said and just kind of you know stay out of her way? like when shes near you guys be all nice and stuff show here nothing bad is happening and you guys are fine.

Then when its superrrr late be like... Mom (boys name) needs to WALK home...cant he just stay here? I mean we've been good ALL NIGHT!

its all ive got really. Ive tried. Ive failed. So dont get your hopes up TOO TOO high. But hey- it could work :]

Hmmm..

I would suggest that you just act like it's no big deal when you ask.

If she responds negatively (looks shocked/appalled or looks like she's going to start lecturing)..

Say..something to the effect that.."Oh mom, now you know we are just gonna hang out and watch movies and stuff, and we will be in the living room (public area) the entire time." Maybe add that it's best that they just stay over "since it's so late".

If all else fails try this tactic:

"Mom, don't you think it's much better that we hang out here, than somewhere else where those boys might get the wrong idea?!" *wink*

haha no offense but i wouldnt even try!
your mom would have to be the COOLEST mom ever to let you have boys sleep over.i mean,i know mine would freak!most likely she would probably say no and it would put her in a bad mood.why dont they stay until like 3am and then you guys could meet up really early to hang out to go eat donuts or something.or even sneak out if you have to.

hi(:

well, i had my first boy sleep over at my house when i was thirteen, so i totally understand that it can be really scary when you ask her for the first time. i'm sure your mom will let them stay if she knows that they've been long time friends. it would be completely different if she's never heard of these boys before.

when you ask her, just be like, "hey mom, (your girlfriend) is going to stay over and we really wanted (boy) and (boy) from (elementary school) to stay over too, just so we can watch movies and stuff." just leave it at that, don't add anymore, because when you start naming a bunch of reasons, she might get suspicious. just leave it to the point.

if she says no, then just be like, "when do you think they'll be able to stay over?" and then just have them come over to watch movies until they have to leave.

good luck.
let me know how it goes!

i'm barely able to have guys over during the day, and i'm 15. if your mother meets these guys, or already knows these guys, why not ask if they can come over from noon to evening, or after dark, but not spend the night?
